You're saying to yourself: "Now hold on a minute...that's not a lion...
...or a tiger....or a bear either! What's going on here?"

You're beginning to see what this section is all about, aren't you?
We have so many animals and the stories that go with them that I needed
an area devoted to telling you about a few of them.
Oh...the third picture? ::grin:: I really didn't have any connection to bears, unless you could count Gina and Gail and their teddy collections. But, I did think of one bear to put on the header of this page. That's "Bear", our Farrier's dog...and a sweet ole bear he is! ![]() The last time Kane Rubalcaba was here to trim Tiger's feet, I surprised him by rushing out to take Bear's picture! ![]() A little footnote here about Bear. Just a few months after this picture was taken, Bear went to join our Inky dog at the Rainbow Bridge. He is sadly missed by us all. "Hear our Humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals, especially for animals who are suffering; for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry; for all that must be put to death. We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity, and for those who deal with them, we ask a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words. Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals and so to share the blessings of the merciful." - Albert Schweitzer ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
