When I was five years old, my mother took me to see The Wizard of Oz. It was the second theater release of the movie. I think it was the old Lowe's theater in downtown Nashville, way back in 1949. You always hear stories of how, at some point, the movie scared children. I was no exception to this. It wasn't the flying monkeys, though. I hid behind the theater seat when I saw Elmira Gulch changing into the Wicked Witch while riding high in the tornado over Kansas enroute to Oz! I have grown to love the movie and now, it has become a part of my *internet life*.

If you've made it here, then you obviously know this isn't Kansas. Please come on in anyway. Welcome! When I began thinking about this site, I knew it would have to have a theme that seems to match my mood right now and also my nickname on the internet. This works for me. *s*

This site has been a long time in the making, and I may change the whole thing a ga-zillion times before I'm through. As I tell my friend, Gradie, I never know what color I am going to be happy with from one minute to the next. *lol* Hey...this makes it soooo simple!
